Owning Membership in Phuket

Owning a membership of one of the golf courses here in Phuket represents a good investment, ( even if you don’t play golf. )

Thailand golf club memberships may be held by overseas residents.

Generally, the golf club membership secondary market in Thailand offers some excellent value deals. Membership prices have been on an upward trend over the past year or so.

Thailand Golf Club memberships club memberships available direct from the clubs and second-hand memberships as at January 2010, together with guideline prices in Thai baht (US$1 = THB 32).

Currently (as at January 2010), we have the following Phuket golf club memberships available or wanted. The prices shown include the transfer fee, any back dues in fees, and all taxes, but are subject to final negotiation with the seller.

Blue Canyon Country Club
Rights and Privileges: The individual Member has full golfer privileges on both the Canyon and Lakes Course and pays no green fees or other fees at the Sports Complex.Members are entitled to a 50% discount at the hotel.
Club’s Rates: Members’ Accompanied Guests Pay 80% of Tariff Rates.
Annual dues: 22,500 Baht
Green fee: Members may introduce up to 15 accompanied guests amonth for 1,900 Baht. Thereafter, accompanied guests 2,920 Baht.
Unaccompanied Members’ guests 3,890. Baht

Phuket Country Club
Rights and Privileges: The individual Member has full golfer privileges on both the Old Course and the 9 hole Country Club Course and pays no green fees or other fees at the Sports Complex
Club’s Rates: Four guests per day may be signed in at 50% normal walk-in rate
(currently 3,500 Baht ).
Annual dues: 18,000 Baht per year (For resident)

Green fee: No green fee payable by members.
Price of Individual
Lifetime Membership :		 The club no longer sells memberships.

Laguna Golf Club
Rights and Privileges: Members are entitled to use the golf course free of charge.All Members will be accorded special privileges at each hotel within the
Laguna Phuket Resort and all other Banyan Tree golf clubs.
Monthly dues: 747 Baht
Green fee: Guests who are accompanied by a Member shall be charged 50% of
the published “Walk In” green fee rate
Price of Individual
Lifetime Membership :		 Direct from Banyan Tree cost:
